My tierneycreates studio is housed in a small back bedroom in my house. It is tiny but it works for me.
Take a tour of my current studio layout:
Entering the room
My 1911 Singer found for $10 at a flea market
Wall of thread. My curtains in the room are made from a sari my friend brought back for me on her family trip to India.
Back of the room. I have a little “IKEA” style rolling cart in which I keep supplies for current projects, that I got from Costco.
Fabric scraps organized by colors (so I would not have too many bins I grouped semi similar colors together, like reds and purples.
A comfy chair to sit and ponder projects
Fun things to look at in the studio
Cutting table and small ironing area (I pull out a formal iron board for large ironing projects)
Ball storage for Mike the mini schnauzer when he visits the studio
Dog “cave” with comfy pillow and afghan in back of sewing table.
Right side closet
Left side closet
Middle of closet
Patchwork themed rug I found at World Market
On your way out of the studio
