A Moment of Utter Silliness While Packing…

As I’ve shared in previous posts (like How Did We Get Here? ) recently we did something crazy and decided to pack up our lives and move to a new house that better suits our lifestyle with main floor living and a bonus loft (where my new studio will be).

For the past month we’ve been purging and packing up our house and next week we close on the new house and move in. Then we have to finish getting our previous house ready to put on the market (luckily John has been working on some house projects while in the midst of packing this past month).

After returning from a 3 day trip with friends last week (planned long before we knew we were going to suddenly get a new house) we’ve been a MAD RUSH this weekend to finish up our packing before we start moving house next week.

While packing today I came across my beloved giraffe stuffed animal. I’ve loved giraffes since I was a young child and a couple of years ago I decided to buy myself one as an adult :-).

I needed a moment of silliness and thought I would share it with you if you need a little laugh (or to start becoming concerned about my sanity…oh wait, you became concerned about it when you found out above my sudden move on my February 14th post – ha!).
