Today I went on a fun quilt shop hop with some new quilting buddies. I will blog about that tomorrow, but for now I just wanted to quickly share the funniest quilt concept I’ve seen to date – a toilet paper roll inspired quilt:

It was in the bathroom of one of the quilt shops we stopped at and I had quilt the giggling while visiting the bathroom.
One of the blocks of the quilt even had an empty roll of toilet paper!

Very creative but alas I did not ask for the pattern (if it even exists, ha!)
That is hilarious!

what a hoot !!! I wonder if this was made during Covid lock down years, when shops were running low on stocks like loo paper?

Ah perhaps! I was wondering why on earth someone would be inspired to make sure a quilt and that makes sense 🙂

We all made those blocks during COVID! Glad there are still some of them around, though we don’t necessarily want to be reminded of that era 😀

So this is a real pattern?!?! Wow – now I get it. I think I blocked out the “can’t find toilet paper” era we went through! 🙂

I was thinking 2020! myself. I’m glad they found an appropriate location for it, and I love the way that some rolls are folded with paper over and some with paper under. I think there was a long debate on Dear Abby about that some years ago.
