I am so honored to participate in the anthology This is How We Create:Stories About Bringing Ideas to Life by our blogging buddy Dr. Yvette Prior of Priorhouse Books and Priorhouse Writes (Blog).

The book was released on 09/10/2026 and is available as a Kindle and paperback format on Amazon.com (links at the end of this post):

I wrote an essay for the anthology on creativity titled “Limits Expand Creativity”, and my quilt Flying Triangles is on the back cover of the book.

I cannot wait to hold a copy of the book in my hand! I’ve reviewed the various drafts with the excellent collection of essays about creating but there will be something so special to read it as a physical book (though Kindle is awesome too!)

Hello T, thank you so much again for being part of this book and bringing your thoughts about what fuels some of your creativity. Also, I agree with you about holding a tangible book. I am grateful for e-books and audio versions – but some paperback books are a must and this is the kind of book that is great to have in the hands!

Yes, and I appreciate how patient the early authors were – because half of you had the chapters done and ready to go a while back. But launching the book this month was so sweet in timing (Sweet September) and confirmed the little delay was exactly what was needed – and three of the chapters were only finalized in August – so yeah, I am glad for the idea of the delay – anyhow hope you have a great weekend

YaY! Congrats on being a part of this new publication! BTW: #4 is a big reason AI generated ‘music/art/etc’ isn’t truly ‘music/art/etc’ – it’s just a product, based upon prior human creativity. Just sayin’…

Thanks so much Laura 🙂
Great insight on AI “art” (threw up in my mouth a little typing those words lol) – it is just PRODUCT!

Congratulations, buddy author!! This is my second anthology contribution with Yvette and it has been a fantastic process that has inspired me. But I have been so busy I haven’t had time to order my copy yet. Thanks for providing those links.. I fully agree, I like a physical copy.

Indeed, I agree it is fun to hold that physical copy and see your name on the cover! Knowing all the work that goes into making it.
Cheers from Australia,
