Little More on the “Agriculture Report” and Al Fresco Dining

A quick follow up to my post Agriculture Report: “I Never Promised You a Rose Garden”.

More flowers have been popping in the garden:

My dahlias that surprisingly come back every year:

Fuchsia colored lilies:

The reliable dayliles which return every year:

Blanket Flowers:

And some light pink roses:

We’ve been enjoying the flowers as we dine “al fresco” as much as we can in the lovely summer weather.

Breakfast on Sunday on the upstairs deck:

And then dinner (Shrimp fried rice made on the grill) on the front porch:

We are trying to enjoy outside dining as much as possible this summer.

  7. It’s not summery here in this part of the world. And my mini.garden has more weeds than flowers, still many decaying autumn leaves. That’s 👍

    And it’s lovely to see your ” ome again blooms”

  8. Your flowers are gorgeous! I love the yellow/gold and pink/fuchsia tendency…and the drops of water look so cool and fresh. Meals outside can be so nice. I feel filled up by not only delicious food, but also the atmosphere. There is something positive and hopeful while at the same time part of the cycles of life and plants taking turns being glorious!

  9. it’s the other side of the year for us, but still pleasant enough outside to enjoy morning coffee on my front porch, watching the sunbirds flit around my golden shrimp flowers, looking for nectar. We don’t have hummingbirds Down Under, these tiny nectar feeders are our closest equivalents.

  10. Your flowers are just beautiful, and you have gotten such amazing pictures of them! We are enjoying outdoor living right now too – coffee on the patio most mornings and dinner outside when we can So glad you see you enjoying your lovely home and outdoor space!
