Progress on Cinnamon Stars

Making progress on Cinnamon Stars the “palate cleanser” mini quilt I decided to work on as I shared in my post Quilters’ Playdate: A Palate Cleanser. This mini quilt is from a 15+ year old Charm Square 5 inch x 5 inch pieces of fabric) quilt kit from the Moda Fabrics Tin Box Sampler Series I found in my stash.

Here is what the finished quilt should look like:

And here is my progress (getting ready to put on the inner border):

Then just the outer border to go…

And the quilt top for this little 15.5 inch x 15.5 inch quilt will be done!

After posting this I caught that my quilt does not look like the finished quilt example on the package! That is because the instructions (darn you Moda!) do not mirror the finished quilt instructions and I made it following the examples and cutting guide in the instructions!

Lesson learned to check the finished quilt photo!
