I’ve seen a bunch of posts where my blogging buddies are sharing galleries of crafting projects they completed in 2022 and I thought it would be interesting to do the same. I am a little nervous writing this post as I think I am going to be disappointed on how little crafts I made compared to how many I had planned to make!
But here goes…

Hmm…it is worse than I thought…I didn’t make very much in 2022 except for small projects. Well I do have an excuse – I think I traveled the most I’ve traveled in one year in 2022. I’ll have to write a post about that next!

I think you made a TON! And on top of making , you traveled , and wrote your blog, and made home improvements ….

i”m with Monique…take away all the little projects (which aren’t all that little!) and you still have 5 large and very detailed quilts as finishes in 2022. WOW!

I don’t know how you got that much done when you were travelling so much. Great work!

Looks a pretty tally to me – I’ve no idea what I’ve achieved in 2022 – let alone any other year – but I’m okay with that…

oops left out word between “pretty….tally” – insert everything from “good – excellent”

Thanks so much and I like your perspective too. I am trying to motivate myself to get my projects waiting completion done in 2023 so I have quite the 2023 Review to share in 2024 – ha!

Personally I think you made lots 😃
The question is did you enjoy yourself making them? Enjoyment beats quantity.

Look at all of those glorious projects! I had a “down” year as well, but I made some progress on other, less tangible things.

I think that is an impressive line-up of completed projects, Tierney. Well done.

I’ll be looking forward to your next post “All the places I traveled in 2022.” I hope by compiling both posts, you’ll see how well balanced and productive you are. Though I’m sure Mike is reading over your shoulder thinking that this Lab Lady should know that any humans time-scale should be tipped to giving their canine more face-time, more snuggles, more outdoor adventures, in essence more dog time than any other activity in their life;)

Aww thanks Beth I appreciate that. I might be too hard on myself. I did spend some wasteful time playing a silly iPad game that I could have spent crafting but I deleted it from my iPad now!
Mike might be reading over my shoulder, you never know 😉
More Mike snuggles does take priority over crafting 🙂

It looks to me like you accomplished a lot. I know two of those quilts took a while, for example.

You got a bunch done! 5 whole quilts! and all the project bags and hats – I don’t know how you did it all with all the traveling. You did some awesome crafting last year!

There is nothing wrong with small projects! With all the travelling that you did I think it’s impressive what you still managed. I also made less than I would’ve liked, but then on the other hand, I read many more books in 2022 than in any of the previous years with children and that does make me happy. Maybe this year it’ll be the other way around, I seem to either spend my free time sewing or reading.
