Greetings from Asheville – Blue Ridge Parkway

Greetings from Asheville, North Carolina. John and I have been visiting his friends in Asheville, North Carolina and we went for an amazing drive on the Asheville section of the Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoyed the Fall Colors.

Thought I would share this short post to share some photos from our drive and I’ll share more of our adventures in future posts.

  1. A beautiful place to see fall … and Asheville is only about 2.5-3 hours from me in Knoxville. My son lived in Charlotte for several years, and I loved the drive from here to Asheville … so pretty!

  2. I miss autumn colour here in the tropics, and the gentle nip of cold weather in the mornings. Our winters are quite warm and trees only drop their leaves when it’s dry. Those colours are beautiful…

      1. Further south they do, since it’s colder and they have all 4 seasons, but I live in the north, in the tropics: Wet season, Dry season. No really cold weather or frosts. Paradise is right!
